LTAM 110 - Latin American Literature in Translation

Carolina Ramirez Moreno is a first generation PhD student in Literature and the Critical Gender Specialization. Carolina grew up in el Estado de Mexico and during her teenage years moved to Arvin, California, a farming community in the Central Valley. She considers both places home.

Carolina focuses on Chicanx/Latinx border literature and media. Her interdisciplinary work examines feminist studies, performance, art, and Latin American popular culture from the nineteenth century to the present. Carolina enjoys writing poetry and watching films.
