LTCH 101 - Readings in Contemporary Chinese Literature

Yuchen Yan is a fourth-year PhD candidate from the Department of Literature. Before coming to UCSD, she gained her BA from the department of Chinese language and literature at Peking University. Her research interests are culture of the grotesque, urban literary studies and medical humanities. She is currently working on her dissertation on narratives of addiction from the late Qing to pre-1949.
